The "emerging" church

If you're not familiar with the term, used to describe the type of Christianity that's taking hold, as both an extension of as well as a rejection of, traditional Evangelical Christianity, read up here.

It's actually an interesting movement, with some interesting leaders, and there seems to be more of a focus on following the teachings attributed to Christ, rather than a weird focus on which groups to hate and who's going to hell, yadda yadda.

As one who veers along the scale between full agnosticism and undefined, theoretical Christianity (like...many of the teachings, minus the "woo" factor), I find the emerging church to be, at least, compelling.
